We can also treat some minor injuries - for more information click here.   Some patients require a consultation in a specialist clinic, so we also run a number of clinics tailored specifically  towards those patients who have particular medical  conditions. These are run by our practice nurses.  • Asthma clinic • Childhood Immunisation clinic • Coronary Heart Disease clinic • Diabetes clinic • Family Planning clinic • Smear clinics • Smoking Cessation clinic • Travel Clinics clinic • Weight Management clinic • Hypertension clinic   If you suffer from a one of the disease groups  above, e.g. diabetes/CHD/asthma/hypertension you  will usually be called for an annual check up with the  relevant nurse. If you would like to attend either the  family planning clinic, the smear clinic, the travel clinic, or the childhood immunisations then please ring reception  for an appointment. For an appointment in the smoking cessation clinic or the weight management clinic please  speak to your doctor who will refer you. We also run a minor surgery clinic which is run by Dr Gareth Richards and supported by a Health Care Assistant. If  you require minor surgery your GP will refer you into this clinic.   We also have a number of community staff working from the practice. These include district nurses, community  psychiatric nurse, community midwives and health visitors.   Our rooms are also used by a range of complimentary therapists. The treatments are offered on a private basis  and for appointments please contact the therapists directly:  • Ruth Purchase - Massage Therapist. Ruth is a Member of the Guild of Professional Practitioners and holds  clinics at the surgery on Mondays & Fridays. You can contact Ruth for an appointment on (01728) 60233   • Sharon Quilter - Osteopath. Sharon is a registered Osteopath (BFA, BSc (Hons) Ost. Sharon runs clinics at  the Surgery every Wednesday and Friday. Sharon can be contacted on (01728) 688935 • Rachel Trotman - Chiropodist. Rachel is our visiting chiropodist (MSSCh, MBCha) and has a clinic at the  surgery every other Wednesday.
