The core hours of the post will be  two shifts per week: Monday afternoon from 1.30pm - 7.00pm and Tuesday morning from 7.45am - 1.45pm However, we are looking for a flexible candidate who we will require to do some of our holiday and sickness  cover - so the two core shifts will be the minimum hours per week and this will often increase significantly.  The post is varied, busy and interesting, and involves a lot of interaction with our patients. We require someone  with good personal skills, a calm nature in all situations, a hard-working attitude and the all important good  sense of humour. Basic computer skills would be desirable but the majority of computer work involved in the job  is done on our clinical system for which we will give full training.   The post attracts optional entry into the NHS pension scheme, 4 weeks annual leave (rising to 5 weeks after 5  years service) and an hourly rate of £7.38/hour. The practice also runs a bonus day scheme, entitling employees  who haven’t been off sick within a three month period to a proportion of their working week paid leave from  work.
